There is only one way to prove your man hood to now, and that’s throwing down a few fried Tarantulas.

Its been about a year since I moved out of Erskineville, I miss it so thought I would dig out a few Holga shots I took on the way to work one April morning. See them all
When I was a kid i always imagined what it would be like to be able to live upside down on the roof. Ji Lee’s latest project involves the construction of miniature versions of rooms (or “parallel worlds”) and placing them on ceilings. Ji Lee noticed that no one ever decorates their ceilings, so he thought it would be a great idea to try and do something with the neglected ceiling space. View the project

March in Thonburi is an experimental short, created over two years by Michael Paul Young. After relocating from Baltimore to Bangkok, Thailand, in 2007, Young sought to expose how the many sensory influences of his adopted country have affected him. The result, March in Thonburi, embodies a richsensory journey through an urban cultural atmosphere from the perspective of a stranger in a strange land.

A great vsual archive of Eastern Medicine packaging by photojournalist Simon Go. Hong Kong Apothecary, a book that transports us to the exotic world of Eastern medicine, a world of oils, powders, pills, and cures for every known ailment from impotency to opium addiction. This lavishly illustrated book is of interest as much for designers seeking inspiration in the unknown vernacular of commercial graphics as for anyone interested in Eastern medicine.
Hong Kong Apothecary is published by Princeton Architectural Press.
Just stumbled across the genius photography of Akif Hakan Celebi and I am totally blown away by the amazing colours and intriguing characters.

this year the beck’s bar has invited video artists for an opportunity to project their work onto the hyde park barracks. hmmm, building projection mapping you say? needless to say i took a bite on the dangling carrot and came up with these two video pieces.
Yesterday I checked out the Olafur Elisson Exhibition at MCA in Sydney. It was a really worthwhile experience. It is the first large-scale exhibition of works by this Danish-Icelandic artist to be presented in Australia. Raised partly in Iceland, Eliasson’s practice is informed by that country’s landscape and spectacular weather. He draws upon elements such as light, water, ice, fog, arctic moss and lava rock to create works that shift viewer perception and sense of place.
